　　Antony Mark Hooper教授，2000-至今为英国洛桑研究所高级研究员。英国剑桥大学化学博士，澳大利亚国立大学博士后，英国皇家化学学院特许化学家，英国科学委员会特许化学家；英国生物能源委员会会员；Pest Management Science杂志副主编。主持国际合作项目5项、参与6项，累计经费超过1,300K 英镑。在Ann. Rev. Phytopathol、Chem. Commun、Phytochem. Rev、New Phytologist、Phytochemistry等杂志发表研究论文70余篇，多次被国际会议邀请作为发言嘉宾。主要研究方向包括化感物质、植物及动物化学信息素的分离鉴定及其生物合成途径过程中相关酶和基因特性，以及化学信号在土壤中的传递机理等。

　　报告内容简介：Semiochemistry is the study of the chemicals that mediate ecological interactions. It involves the identification of these biologically active natural products that possess ecologically relevant activity which are often volatile and present in minute quantities. Subsequent to this is their isolation, structure elucidation and synthesis (to verify structure and then at scale) for their application in the field to affect ecology to the benefit of humans in agriculture and human health.
